Protocol Components

FIVA Protocol operates through three essential components that work together to enable yield tokenization and trading. Each component serves a specific purpose in the ecosystem:

  • The Standardized Yield Token (SY) provides a unified interface for wrapping yield-bearing assets

  • The Principal Token (PT) represents the principal value of the asset, redeemable at maturity

  • The Yield Token (YT) captures the yield generated by the underlying asset

Understanding how these components interact is crucial for effectively using FIVA's features and implementing various yield strategies. Let's explore each component in detail.
