# Choosing Your Wallet

We recommend two types of wallets that work perfectly with FIVA:

### Option 1: [Telegram Wallet](https://t.me/wallet) (Easiest)

**Best for:** People who already use Telegram and want maximum simplicity\
**Setup time:** 3-5 minutes\
**KYC required:** Yes (need to verify your identity)\
**Type:** Custodial

**Pros:**

* Built into Telegram app you already use
* Very simple interface
* Can recover wallet if you lose phone

**Cons:**

* Need to verify your identity

### Option 2: Self-Custody Wallets (Full Control)

**Best for:** People who want complete control over their money\
**Setup time:** 5-15 minutes\
**KYC required:** No\
**Type:** Non-custodial

We recommend either:

* [**Tonkeeper**](https://tonkeeper.com/) (most popular choice)
* [**MyTonWallet**](https://mytonwallet.io/) (newer alternative)

**Pros:**

* You have complete control of your money
* No company can freeze or access your funds
* Works on phone, computer, or web browser
* No identity verification needed

**Cons:**

* More responsibility for security
* If you lose recovery phrase, money is gone forever
* Need to download new app

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.thefiva.com/fiva-basics/additional-help/new-to-wallets/choosing-your-wallet.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
